COOLEY, AARON SHANE, age 38, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020, at his home.

The family will have a memorial service to be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness, 4301 Wilson Blvd. Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22203.

Aaron was born February 20, 1982, in Reed City, the son of Randee Cooley and Carolyn Aiello. He graduated from Reed City High School with the class of 2001. Aaron worked for many years in Mt. Pleasant with MMI. During high school, Aaron was part of a speed skating team. He loved listening to music, watching action movies, rollerblading, and riding his bicycle. Aaron had a kind soul and good heart. He would never complain about anything.

Aaron is survived by his mother Carolyn Lambrix (Greg Leipham) of Hersey; his father Randee Cooley (Sabrina Nowlin) of Big Rapids; brother Nicholas (Marisol) Lambrix of Chula Vista, CA; sister Michelle (Darin) Gawne of Baldwin and Mandy Cooley of Big Rapids; nephew Logan (Katlyn) Gawne of Milford, IN; and many other extended family members.

Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents.
