Obituary for Ada Anet Patterson
PATTERSON, ADA ANET, age 57, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital.
A private funeral service for Ada will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Pastor Wally Hostetter officiating. Friends and family are invited to attend the services via a live broadcast by visiting the webcasting link at Ada’s Book of Memories at www.clarkfuneralchapel.com or www.facebook.com/clarkfuneralchapel. Cremation will follow at Daisy Hill Crematory in Mt. Pleasant. Ada's ashes will be interred at Jerome Township Cemetery in Sanford. The family will receive friends for a public visitation on Sunday, March 14, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Church Deacon Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Ada was born on April 5, 1963, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of Richard and Mamie (Werbicky) Ridgway. She married Frederick Patterson in 1991 in Mt. Pleasant. Ada was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Community Church and loved reading her bible. She enjoyed watching animal documentaries, reading, fishing, crossword puzzles, and going to thrift stores.
Ada is survived by her significant other Esther Williams of Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Victoria (Billy) Owens of Mt. Pleasant; sister Maryanne Ridgeway of Mt. Pleasant; and dear friends, Becky Black and Helen MacGregor.
Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick in 1997; sister Cinde Doty; and her parents.
Ada’s family would like to extend their appreciation to Heartland Hospice, McLaren Central Michigan ICU, and Laurel’s of Mt. Pleasant for their excellent, compassionate care.
