Earnest, Alice Irene, passed away with her family by her side in Oscoda MI on January 5, 2023.
Funeral services for Irene will take place at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday January, 11th 2023 at 11 AM with Andy Molyneux officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel on Tuesday, January 10 from 4-8 PM.

Irene was born to Gerald and Alma (Rahl) McClain on March 5, 1937 in Leaton MI. She worked for the Mt. Pleasant Center for 30 years from which she retired. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting, and painting. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Irene is survived by her children; daughter, Deborah (Dave) Dell of Mt. Pleasant. sons; Michael Earnest of Mt. Pleasant, Patrick (Cheri) Earnest of Mt. Pleasant and David (Nancy) Earnest of Oscoda. 6 grandchildren. 14 great-grandchildren
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, sister Doris Woodbury and brother Frank McClain.
