Obituary for Allen Sanford Beach
BEACH, ALLEN SANFORD, age 91, of Vestaburg, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Isabella County Medical Care Facility.
Private family graveside service for Allen will be held at Ferris Center Cemetery in Vestaburg.
A celebration of life is being planned for next spring.
Allen was born June 6, 1929, in Bay City, Michigan son of Leo and Ethel (Ames) Beach. Al served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951-1953. Al married Margaret Switzer on August 13, 1955. Margaret preceded him in death on June 15, 2008. He worked for Montcalm County Road Commission many years, retiring in 1992. Spending time with his children and grandchildren was his greatest joy. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Allen is survived by his children: Stewart (Marlene) Beach of Novi, Teresa (Lanny) Graham of Edmore, Aaron Beach of Vestaburg, and Onalee (Mike) Barnett of Stockbridge; grandchildren Daniel (Tracy) Graham, Stephanie (Tony) Messplay, Jason Graham, Paula Williams, Patrick (Tabbi) Beach, Allen Beach, Elizabeth Beach; and great-grandchildren Kenneth and Kathryn Graham.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sister Marilyn; and daughter-in-law JoAnn.
