Obituary for Amanda Dawn McIntosh
Amanda “Mandy” Dawn McIntosh, 39 of Harrison, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 28, 2019. Amanda was born September 27, 1979 in Ypsilanti, Michigan the daughter of John Dwayne McIntosh and Tina Marie (Cullin) McIntosh. Amanda graduated in 1998 from Deerfield High School.
Mandy had resided in rural Harrison since 2011, moving from Deerfield, Michigan. Mandy had been employed with Cabela’s in Dundee for many years as a clothing department manager. She enjoyed fishing, playing basketball, writing poems, floral gardening, watching the Young and Restless and Weather Channel on television, spending time with her family and cooking, especially her famous Italian Chicken.
Surviving Amanda are her two children; Seth A. McIntosh of Harrison and Kylie Fowler also of Harrison, her mother, Tina Stiffler and husband Robert of Harrison, her father, John D. McIntosh of Harrison, her maternal grandmother, Judith Pontis of Ypsilanti, Michigan, two sisters; Tiffany Pizana of Waterford, Michigan and Jessica Stiffler of Farwell, Michigan, four nieces, two nephews and her beloved pets, three dogs; Taz, Cooper and Molly and one cat, Gabby.
