Obituary for Andrew French Bahr
BAHR, ANDREW FRENCH, age 70, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at his home.
Per Andy's wishes, cremation has taken place at Daisy Hill Crematory https://www.daisyhillcrematory.com/ in Mt. Pleasant. A Celebration of Life will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, September 16, at 11 a.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Andy was born on January 25, 1951, in South Bend, IN, son of Paul and Margaret (French) Bahr. He married Kaye Heinlein on February 17, 2005. Andy owned and operated A1 Janitorial Services in Central Michigan for over 40 years. Andy loved to play pool, fish, golf, riding motorcycles, and watching Nascar. He enjoyed to bake for family. He spent a lot of time helping take care of his parents. He and Kaye loved caring for their dogs, Bella and Sherman. His grandchildren were his world. He loved watching their sports games or concerts.
Andy is survived by his sons, Christopher (Amber) Lyon of Mt. Pleasant and Matthew (Elissa) Lyon of Weidman; 7 grandchildren, Sydney (Michael), Ariana, Johnathan, Alaina, Joslyn, Jay, and Luke; 4 great grandchildren Easton, Aaliyah, Isaiah, and Amelia; siblings, Arthur (Robin) Bahr, Al (Coni) Bahr, Mary (Tom) Suman, Martha Bowers, and Kathy (Phil) Lombard; father-in-law, Robert Heinlein; and several nieces and nephews.
Andy was preceded in death by his wife, Kaye Bahr in 2018 and parents.
