Obituary for Ardith Lynn Hoover
HOOVER, ARDITH LYNN, age 81, of Rosebush, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020, at McLaren Regional Hospital in Flint.
Funeral Services for Ardith will take place on Friday, September 18, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Rosebush. The family will receive friends on Friday beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Rosebush Manor. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Ardith was born February 2, 1939, in Rosebush, the daughter of O. Clair and Salome (Smith) Hoover. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1956. Ardith worked for MacGregor News Agency in Mt. Pleasant for over 35 years. She was a longtime member of Rosebush Presbyterian Church. Ardith enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, and loved to make patchwork quilts. Lately, she made many prayer shawls for the United Methodist Church Women.
Ardith is survived by her brothers David (Lavonna) Hoover of Brookdale, Paul Hoover of Rosebush; sister Bethel Hoover of Davison; and many nieces and nephews.
Ardith was preceded in death by her parents; and brother LaVern (Pamela) Hoover.
