Obituary for Arlice G. Bellingar

Arlice G. Bellingar passed away at approximately 6:30 P.M. Sunday Evening April 25 at the Avielle Haven Assisted Living in Midland, Michigan.

A daughter was born to Howard and Florence Myers on June 29, 1927 at the family home in northern Isabella county, Michigan. The couples 5th child and 2nd daughter was named Arlice. Arlice attended the Bowen School where her siblings also attended, as well as her son Robert. She was married in August 29, 1947 to Robert Dale Bellingar at the parsonage of Leaton Methodist Church. The couple had two sons, Robert and David. Their daughter Cheryl died at birth. Arlice became a Christian after her parents received Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior. She taught Sunday School for many years at the Leaton United Methodist Church. Her sons came to believe that they were in church every time the doors opened. She lived most of her life at the family homestead. She was aunt to 37 nieces and nephews, and who is able to count the great and the great-great ones?

Arlice was proceeded in death by her parents Howard and Florence Myers, husband Robert Dale Bellingar, infant daughter Cheryl, brothers Albert Myers, Robert Myers, John Myers and, sister Dorothy Hutchinson. She is survived by her two son: the Rev. Robert L. Bellingar (Linda) of Spring Hill, Florida and David Alan Bellingar of Clare, Michigan, and brother Ken Myers of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
