Obituary for Arnold Carl Krueger
KRUEGER, ARNOLD CARL, age 86, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday March 13, 2021, at McLaren Bay Regional Hospital in Bay City.
Cremation has taken place at Daisy Hill Crematory in Mt. Pleasant. A Celebration of Arnold's life will take place at a later date. Arnold's ashes will be interred at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Community Compassion Food Pantry at https://ccnfeeds.org/.
Arnold was born on March 8, 1935, in Mt. Pleasant, son of Carl and Lovica (Simons) Krueger. Arnold worked as a building manager for Dow Chemical for 39 years. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church on River Road in Mt. Pleasant. Arnold's greatest passion was helping his family and the people he loved; he was a tremendous source of support for us all.
Arnold will be greatly missed by his surviving children, Anne Badgley of Poway, CA, Jeffrey (Robin) Krueger of Mt. Pleasant, MI, and Marjorie Krueger of Orangevale, CA; his dear friend Hildegard Machuta and daughter-of-his-heart, Marcy Carney; his grandchildren Jamie, Jocelyn, Tracy, and Marti; great-grandchildren Preston, Acacia, Isaac, Eden, Isaiah, Sullivan, Bailey, Samantha, and Benjamin; and great-great-grandchild Sterling.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold Krueger; sister, Betty Moses; and great-grandson Justin Curtiss.
