Obituary for Arthur Lee "Boobie" Hughes
HUGHES, ARTHUR LEE, age 2, of Mt. Pleasant passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 16, 2019.
A memorial service for Arthur will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Terry Wilson officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow at Community Church, 1400 W. Broomfield, Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Arthur was born on October 14, 2016, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Trevor Hughes and Ashlea Genson. Arthur was a loving and fun child. His nicknames were “Bubba”, “Monkey”, “Arfur”, “Arfis” and “Artie”. He loved to wrestle, ride his bike, play video games with his father, and watching Curious George. He loved to say "Why?" to everything and responding quickly with a "No" to any request. His Papas' were his favorite, outside of Dad. Nobody messed with his older sissy when he was around.
Arthur is survived by his parents; sister, Hailey Genson; grandparents, Robert and Dawn Hughes, and Lorry and Aaron Lindsey; grandmothers, Kelly McDonald, Marlee (Todd) Jeluso and Dianna McBride; grandfather, Robert Fowler; grand mother, Kim Fowler; aunts and uncles, Matthew Ringer, Cody (Konna) Peacock, Kristina Buckmaster, Jarred McBride, Christy Sheldon, Autumn Jeluso, Stacey Hughes, Skye McDonald, Mason Ringer, Chase Fowler, Brandon Jeluso and Damon Fowler; great-grandparents, Carol Cesar, Roger Peacock, Louise Grace, Curtis Dyer, and Gary Lindsey; several great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Arthur was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Larry Genson, Marie Crebessa, Thelma Dyer, Lonnie Grace, Don Cesar, Glen McDonald and Marry Dargitz; several great-great grandparents.
