Barbara Lee DeForest age 88 of Sanford, Michigan, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Barbara was born July 12, 1935 in rural Harrison the daughter of Loyal A. Price and Anna May (Peck) Price. Barbara had resided in Sanford since 1996, moving from Midland.
Barbara enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends, Euchre games at the senior center and watching her dear friends, Gary and Diane Soper's grandchildren play baseball.
Surviving Ms. DeForest are her two daughters; Diane Pnacek and husband Steve and Denise Morris and husband Jim, two grandchildren; Heather Strike and husband Leo and Marty Wilkenson, two great-grandchildren; Josh Strike and wife Caryn and Becky Strike, siblings; Sally Eiseler, Dale Price and wife Delores and David "Pete" Price and wife Janet, many nieces, nephews, extended family member and very close and dear friends, Diane and Gary Soper. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Jason Pnacek, two sisters, Margy Henry, and Cathern Fetterolfs and three brothers-in-law, Don Henry, Raymond Fetterolfs and Norm Eiseler.
Celebration of Life services honoring Ms. DeForest will be Saturday, My 18, 2024, at 11:00 am until service at 12:00 pm at the American Legion Post 404.
