Obituary for Barbara Ann Syzak
Barbara Ann Davidson was born on January 29, 1952, to the late Margaret Ann Finch and James Ervin Davidson. Barbara was educated in the Detroit Public School System, attending Harding Elementary and Redford High School.
Barbara was first employed at Ervin Theatre. She would later on become a waitress working at Soaring Eagle Casino for 15 years. She was very family oriented and love being around family. She also Loved going out to eat, going to the casino, and playing bingo.
In 1995, Barbara married Daniel Syzak. They were married 23 years until her untimely demise. Daniel will miss Barbara dearly.
Barbara is preceded in death by her mother and father; two sisters, Hellen Botkins and Beverly Davidson; and three brothers, John Davidson, Bob Davidson, and Jimmy Davidson.
Barbara leaves to cherish her memory her two children, Anna (Dan) Dolphus and Mark Herrin; two sisters, Virginia Davidson and Karen Smith; six grandchildren, Anastasia Warren, Angelina Warren, Craig Bogan, Steven Bogan, Mark Herrin, Jr., and Jeffrey Herrin; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services for Barbara will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at 1 p.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
