Obituary for Bernard Joseph "Junior" Zeneberg Jr.
Zeneberg, Bernard Joseph Jr. “Junior”, 83, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Medilodge of Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral Services for Bernard will be held at 11a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, at Clark Funeral Chapel with Ben Evers officiating. The Zeneberg family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Chapel from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6 and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of services. Graveside services will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Leaton United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel.
Bernard was born August 23, 1939, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Bernard and Dorothy (McCrindle) Zeneberg. He worked for 30+ years as a physical therapy aide for the State of Michigan Home in Mt. Pleasant. He went on to work for the Highway department for 5 years. Bernard married Virginia Walker on December 10, 1960, in Mt. Pleasant. He loved spending time in nature, whether it was; Hunting, Fishing, Gardening, or Farming.
Bernard is survived by his wife, Virginia Zeneberg; children, Bernard (Janet) Zeneberg III of Mt. Pleasant, Robert (Melinda) Zeneberg of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Joe (Bobbi) Zeneberg of Mt. Pleasant, Jennifer (Nathan) Bachelder of Mt. Pleasant, Alex and Madison Zeneberg of Mt. Pleasant; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Brooklyn Zeneberg, Ryan and Zade Bachelder.
Bernard was preceded in death by his parents, son: Bruce Allen Zeneberg; great-grandson: Allen Ryan Bachelder; and brothers: James, Gerald and Gerry Zeneberg.
