VINCENT, BERNICE MAE, age 96, of Farwell passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility.

Funeral Services for Bernice will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Saturday, July 29, at 4 p.m. Interment will follow in the Gilmore Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends on the day of the service from 2 p.m. until to the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Isabella County Commission on Aging Meals on Wheels. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Bernice was born on June 21, 1921, in Clare, the 9th child of Elvis and Sadie (Peacock) Denton. She married Donald Rawson, who preceded her in death. in her later years, Bernice worked for Gene Smith Lincoln Mercury as the office manager. Bernice enjoyed knitting and cooking.

Bernice is survived by her son, Ray (Helen) Rawson of Farwell; grandchildren, Steven (Marie) Rawson, David (Amy) Rawson, and Shelly Rawson; and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Allison, Emily, Brooke, and Jack.
Bernice was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Rawson; second husband, Gene Vincent; son, Joe Rawson; siblings, Lou (Nell), Jim (Mary), Ray (Agnes), Art (Virginia), Glen (Mary), Tom (Mae), Earl (Dorothy) Denton, and Mina (Stu) Bergsma.
