Obituary for Beverly T. Wangberg
WANGBERG, BEVERLY T., age 95, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Nottingham Place in Midland.
Beverly was born July 7, 1928, in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Norman and Evelyn (Kinchen) Teck. She was a schoolteacher for 22 years in Shepherd, MI. She married David Wangberg on September 11, 1948. He preceded her in death in 1991. Beverly was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant and volunteered at Central Michigan Community Hospital.
Beverly is survived by her children Craig Wangberg (Lisa) of Florida, Jody (Paul) Coleman of Wappingers Falls, NY, Kimberly Charbeneau of Mt. Pleasant, Kevin (Lori) Wangberg of Mt.Pleasant; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband David, brother George A. Teck; and special friend E.G. “Ted” Bath of Midland.
Beverly has requested no funeral or memorial services. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Autism Awareness, the National Alzheimer’s Association, the Methodist Children’s Home Society or any charity of your choice, in Beverly’s name.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Nottingham Place in Midland, MI and the staff of CareLine Hospice for the exceptional care they have provided over the last several years.
