Billy Ray Pennington, age 67, of Harrison passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023, at his home under the care of Promedica Hospice
Funeral Services for Bill will be held at Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 12 noon with Greg Langley officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow at the Harrison Moose Lodge. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Bill was born on July 5, 1955, in Berry, AL, son of Troy and Ruby (Currington) Pennington. He married Anne Lamb on December 20, 2004. Bill worked for General Motors at Plant 6 in Pontiac for over 30 years and served on the Police Force in Lake Orion. Bill loved HAMM Radios, computers, reading, hunting, fishing, golfing, target practice at his home in the woods, grabbing coffee with his best friend, Larry, and spending time with his family and friends. Bill was a great influence and mentor to many that made us who we are today.
Bill is survived by his wife, Anne; children, Sarah Pennington, Angela (John) Niestuchowski-Rowden, and Adam (Amanda) Niestuchowski; granddaughters, Alexis Thrush, Hadley Niestuchowski, and Gracyn Niestuchowski; great-grandson, Remmington McPhall; siblings, Betty (Larry) Petty, James (Denise) Pennington, Randy (Tammy) Pennington, and Morris (Cammie) Pennington; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Teresa) Lamb and Gary (Kelly) Lamb; and many nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Linda Lambert and Dorothy Fox; brother, Carl Pennington; and brother-in-law, Rick Lamb.
