Obituary for Billy Joe "Bill" Reynolds

Billy Joe “Bill” Reynolds 70 of Harrison passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Clare. Billy was born September 23, 1948 in Herrin, Illinois the son of Tresil Lee Reynolds and Mary Louise (Driscol) Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Reynolds was united in marriage to Mary Chasteen on June 24, 2000 in Harrison.
Mr. Reynolds retired from General Motors Corporation after twenty-seven years of service. Bill had resided in Harrison since 1993, coming from Sanford, Michigan. Bill enjoyed Deer hunting and being surrounded by nature. For many years, Bill would take his boys Salmon Fishing at Tippy Dam in Manistee, Michigan. He loved camping with his sons in Freeland, Michigan and building and riding motorcycles. He was fond of his family and friends and would give his shirt off his back to anyone. His dog Boo was his faithful K-9 companion.
Surviving Billy Joe is his loving wife of eighteen years, Mrs. Mary Reynolds, his mother, Mary Louise Kauffman, one daughter, Terra Nowels, three sons; Joseph Reynolds and wife Jessie, Zach Reynolds and Will Nowels, twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, three brothers and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his father.
