Obituary for Bonnie Lopez (Shelley)

Bonnie Lynne Lopez 50 of Harrison passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Bonnie was born April 11, 1968 in Trenton, Michigan the daughter of John Thomas Shelley and Norma Jean (Rosier) Shelley. Bonnie graduated in 1986 from Franklin High School, California. On October 29, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Bonnie was united in marriage to Mr. Eulalio “Lalo” Lopez.
Mrs. Lopez had resided in Harrison since 1994, coming from California. She and her husband Lalo owned and operated Harrison Flooring and More for over five years. When Bonnie wasn’t working or caring for her family, she enjoyed watching Judge Judy television episodes, cooking her famous chili, noodle salad and making homemade Tamales with her family at Christmas. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting, especially hats and gloves at Christmas time. Bonnie was known on occasion to enjoy a good glass of wine.
Surviving Mrs. Lopez is her loving husband of thirty years, Mr. Eulalio Lopez, two daughters; Rachell Ranirez and husband Jesse and Norma “Jeanie” Lopez, two sons; Frank Lopez and David Lopez and wife Nickole, one granddaughter, Leila Ranirez, one sister, Theresa Austin, one brother, Matt Shelley, many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Mrs. Lopez was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, John Shelley and one daughter, Shelley Lopez.
Funeral services celebrating Bonnie will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison. Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in St. Athanasius Catholic Cemetery, Harrison. Memorial gifts in memory of Bonnie may be considered to the Lopez Family, in care of: Eulalio Lopez.
