WILSON, BONNIE L., age 78, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018, at Woodland Hospice in Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Gene Haymaker officiating. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at Maranatha Baptist Church following the burial. Family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wilson family to be directed in tribute of Bonnie Wilson to Woodland Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Bonnie was born April 14, 1940, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Fred and Reva (Mallie) Gannon. She married Clare Wilson on November 13, 1957, in Mt. Pleasant. Bonnie was an active member of the First Baptist Church for 50 years, and an active member of the Maranatha Baptist Church for 17 years. While a member, she was an avid Sunday school teacher for 30 years and a well-respected Awana Commander and Director for 35 years. Bonnie was very passionate in her love for the Lord as well as her children. Her hobbies included walks, garage sales, and spending time with her family. Family was of the utmost importance to her.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clare Wilson; daughter Victoria (Craig) Battle of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren: Amber (Dave) Kalinowski, Brandy (Mike) Herron, Chad Battle, Brock Williams; and six great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; son Joshua Wilson in 2002; son Thomas Wilson in 2016; grandson Eric Wilson in 2017; a brother; and four sisters.
