Obituary for Bonnie Lou Zingery
ZINGERY, BONNIE LOU, age 87, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Green Acres Assisted Living in Mt. Pleasant.
A Memorial Service for Bonnie will be held on Saturday, June 26,2021 at 11 a.m. at Countryside United Methodist Church, 4624 S. Leaton Rd., Mt. Pleasant, with Pastor Sharon Haynes officiating. The family will greet friends beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Refreshments will follow the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Green Acres Assisted Living, Memory Care Unit, 1805 E. Remus Rd., Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858, Countryside United Methodist Church, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Bonnie was born on August 6, 1933, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of Otto and Mabel (McDonald) Klumpp. She worked as a custodian for Mt. Pleasant Public Schools for many years. Bonnie loved her home and her church. She was a devoted member of Countryside United Methodist Church for many years. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, baking, and collecting angels. She loved decorating for Christmas and spending time with her family.
Bonnie is survived by her children: Mark (Mary) Zingery of Ludington, Mike (Bonnie) Zingery of Shepherd, Laurie (Jim) Cary of Mt. Pleasant; 10 grandchildren Lynnett Ort, Matthew (Jill) Zingery, Robert Zingery, Sarah Zingery, Zach (Pagiel) Zingery, Bridgett (Jeffrey) Dodick, Derrick (Jennifer) Zingery, Travis Zingery, Roscoe (Cassie) Cary, Shayna (Jake) Bahlke; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her 12 brothers and sisters.
