Obituary

Bradley Gene Kimball, 67, of Blanchard, passed away in the early morning of August 17th, 2020, in Midland, MI.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22nd, 2020, at the Halls Lake pavilion in Remus, MI, with Reverend David Tremain of Littlefield Outreach Church officiating. Cremation arrangements were handled by Clark Family Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service. Bradley's ashes will be buried at Broomfield Township Cemetery which has always been an important part of his family’s heritage.

Bradley was born in Edmore, MI, to Cleo and Marguerite Kimball on November 15th, 1952. He graduated in 1971 with the first graduating class of Chippewa Hills. Bradley married Rebecca Fay Pierce on August 6, 1977, at the Church of God in Remus, MI. He worked as a machinist and group leader at Hitachi Magnetics Corp. for 32 years. Bradley served as a sergeant in the National Guard.

Bradley is preceded in death by his father, Cleo Kimball.

Bradley is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Rebecca Kimball; his children Amanda (Jason) Armstrong, Cassandra Kimball, and Andrew Kimball; his siblings Lucinda (Greg) Powers, David Kimball, Elwyn (Karen) Kimball; his mother, Marguerite Spencer; his grandchildren, Izabel Thrush and Isaac Thrush, as well as cherished extended family members. Bradley was goofy and outgoing and made meaningful connections wherever he went.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you would instead assist with his remaining medical expenses. The remainder will be sent to the National Kidney Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the Memorial Service and at Clark Family Funeral Chapel.

Bradley’s family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to the Mt. Pleasant Davita Dialysis Center, Remus Rd. McDonald’s, and Mid Michigan Health who all provided immeasurable encouragement, support, and care on a personal level.

I met Brad while working for ICCU, and have fond memories of hearing his stories about his beloved grandchildren. He and I would catch up every time he came in, and I'd get to hear just how big Izabel was getting. He was known in my office for his jokes - he always had one waiting every time he came in! Prayers for you, Becky, and the whole family. It was a gift to meet and know Brad.

Brad would come in all the time to McDonald’s order his usual and trick you by switching it up the next day. He was a great man. Always made us smile, ask how life was going, if you needed to vent he would let you vent. All the love to the whole family

I remember Brad coming into McDonald's when I worked there. He always had a smile no matter what kind of day he was having. What a wonderful soul he was. Love to the whole family.
