Obituary for Carol Ann Jacob (Taylor)

Carol Ann Jacob 75 of rural Harrison passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Carol was born February 23, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of Charles O. and Ibra M. (Williams) Taylor. Carol graduated from Buena Vista High School, Saginaw in 1961. On July 25, 1980 in Bridgeport, Michigan, Carol was united in marriage to Mr. Raymond H. Jacob.
Mrs. Jacob had resided in rural Harrison since 1999, moving from Saginaw. Mrs. Jacob was passionate about her family, whether it was spoiling her grandchildren, or coordinating and hosting family reunions. She was a great seamstress and wonderful cook and baker, and will be most remembered by her famous banana cake, coney sauce, baked beans and macaroni salad. She loved bowling with her sisters and sisters in law.
Surviving Carol is her loving husband of thirty-eight years, Mr. Raymond H. Jacob of Harrison, three daughters; Samantha and Dan Larive, Vicky Fryzel and Darlene and Robert Nielsen, two sons; Matthew and Heather Gray and James and Lori Jacob, eighteen grandchildren, two sisters; Shar and Will Estep and Bonnie and William Russell, four brothers; Charles and Rose Taylor, Thomas and Jan Taylor, Steven Taylor, Mark and Val Taylor, one brother in law, John Frazier, plus many nieces, nephews and her three beloved dogs; Gizmo, Napoleon and Noah. Mrs. Jacob was preceded in death by her parents, two sons; Robert Lee Gray Jr. and Raymond Jacob Jr., one sister, Dar Frazier and two dogs; Ginger and Suzy.
Memorial services for Mrs. Jacob will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Summerfield Township Hall, 9971 North Finley Lake Ave., Harrison, Michigan 48625 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial gifts in memory of Carol may be considered to the Jacob family, in care of Mr. Raymond H.
