CARR, CAROLYN LOUISE, age 81, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Friday, January 29, 2021, at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital in Mt. Pleasant.

Carolyn was born on May 11, 1939, in Cumberland, MD, daughter of Lloyd and Catherine (Kirk) O'Brien. Carolyn loved to volunteer, whether be at Summerfest or the Listening Ear. She enjoyed the company of first responders. Anyone with a uniform was a friend and person she wanted to be around. She was always there for anyone that needed help and loved to spend time with her family.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Darren Carr and Kelly (Douglas) Schutt; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and brother, Lloyd (Sandy) O'Brien, Jr. of West Virginia.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, LeAnne and Lisa; and grandson, Michael Schutt.
