REAUME, CHARLES “CHUCK” EDWARD, SR., age 56, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Isabella County.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Stargazer, 5776 Venture Way, Mt. Pleasant, on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Mary Embrey, 1102 Sweeney Street, Mt. Pleasant. Envelopes are available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel.
Chuck was born July 14, 1964, in Garden City, the son of Allen and Janet (Dickey) Reaume. He loved to draw, hunt, and in the past he liked to fish. Chuck loved his job at Stargazer and was loved by so many people. Chuck loved his Mt. Dew and Marlboro Light 100’s. One of his greatest achievements was winning the dart tournament with Nick Strauss, Jessica Strauss, and Ashley Beals in Las Vegas. Chuck loved model planes and cars, and the band The Doors. Many people looked up to Chuck as a father, uncle, and papa. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
Chuck is survived by his mother Janet Reaume (Norm Geasler); two brothers Allen (Jackie) Reaume and Ernest Reaume; his love of 36 years Sandra Reaume; son Charles “Charlie” Edward Reaume, Jr; daughter Mary (Jake) Embrey; his grandchildren David Reaume (19), Isaac Reaume (18), Jakob Pennell (16), Malaysia Reaume (16), Nathan Embrey (10), Lincoln Embrey (6), Aria and Charley Reaume (6), Jase Embrey (3); beloved nephew Christopher (Kristina) Pennell; great nephew Jaremy (Shelby) Mount; great niece Morgan (Ryan) Rybkowski; other nieces and nephews Ann (Darryl) Ison, Jessica Reaume, Zack (Allison) Reaume, Richard Reaume, Sabrina (Brad) Gibson, Kurt Stetler, and A.J. Reaume. He is also survived by children that are like his own: Tiffany White and son William; Ashley Beals and children Keagen, Keyfer, and Kaige; Kayla and Joe Oaks and children Kaylie, Joe Jr., and Hunter; Jessica and Nick Strauss and children Nicholas, Maddison, and Jackson; and his best friend Jeremy Woodard.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father Allen Ernest Reaume; mother-in-law Evelyn Teeples; and niece Dusty Pennell.
