Obituary for Cheryl Lynn Rodriguez
RODRIGUEZ, CHERYL LYNN, age 60, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021, at her home.
Cheryl’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Cheryl was born in Newark, NJ, on November 18, 1960, the daughter of Lester and Mona (Geiger) Morris. She attended high school in Corona, California. Cheryl had a heart of gold, soul of an angel, and endurance of a tank. She had a knack for writing poetry for her family on special occasions, cooking for her family, and adored her grandkids. Cheryl also liked watching western movies, going to the casino, and playing Bingo.
Cheryl is survived by her sons: George (Jennifer) Rodriguez, Jr., Eric Rodriguez (Tiffanie Swazey), and Ji-Aire Rodriguez, all of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Kianna, Angeline, Kaylynn, Alivia, Trenton, Elaina, Eden, River, and Xavian; sister Denise Trimble of Quakertown, PA; best friend and father to her children George Rodriguez, Sr.; sister-in-laws Carmen Wood of Florida and Yolanda Forney of Mt. Pleasant.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; son B.J. Rodriguez; granddaughter Mariah; and brother Jessie Morris.
