Obituary for Cindy Louise Walton
WALTON, CINDY LOUISE, age 61, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at her home.
Cindy was born July 18, 1959, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Robert and Marilyn (Hesson) Walton. She graduated from Beal City High School with the class of 1977. Cindy had worked as a nurse’s aide at Central Michigan Community Hospital and at Vowels Elementary as a paraprofessional. She was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Beal City. Cindy loved flower gardening, her pets, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends.
Cindy will be forever loved and dearly missed by all of her family who survive her: mother Marilyn Walton of Mt. Pleasant; brothers Tim (Angie) Walton of Weidman, Steven (Sue) Walton of Rosebush, Mike (Jennifer) Walton of Mt. Pleasant; sister Sue (Russ) Potts of Clare; nieces and nephews: Josh and Dillan Walton, Sarah (Zack) Block, Laura (Ross) Crawford, Kayla Jo Walton, and Isabel Walton; great nieces Lena Block and Delilah Block; and her special friend Dutch Oberloier of Clare.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father, grandparents Roy (Loretta) Hesson and Glen (Violet) Walton; Godmother June Schumaker; and many other extended family members.
Cindy’s wishes were to be cremated. A private memorial service will take place at a later date. Interment of ashes will be in Riverside Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
