Obituary for Cleo Dalton Boyd III

BOYD, CLEO DALTON, III, age 47, of St. Louis, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, at his home.

A Memorial Service for Cleo will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel, Mt. Pleasant, on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 12 p.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Cleo was born on August 12, 1975, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Cleo Dalton Boyd, Jr. and Jean Marie Williams. He worked in construction for many years. Cleo liked grilling out, camping, fishing, and having a good time with friends. He also loved mud bogs, magnet fishing, and drinking a beer watching Nascar racing, especially Dale Earnhardt.

Cleo is survived by his partner in life, Barb Lowe of St. Louis; stepchildren Jasmine Lowe of Mt. Pleasant, Jordan Lowe of St. Louis; mother Jean Handy of Loomis; father Cleo (Nancy) Boyd of Coleman; grandmother Marilyn Williams of Loomis; siblings Noranne (Bob) Smith of Elm Hall, Joseph Dale Boyd of St. Louis, Nick Norris of Florida, Chrystal Boyd of Coleman; mother-in-law Barbara Havens of Alma; sisters-in-law Helen Dickerson of Shepherd, Sally Delgado of St. Louis; brother-in-law John Nelson of Hemlock; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Cleo was preceded in death by uncles Fred (Barb) Boyd, Ronnie Boyd, Ronald Norris, Vincent Brooks, Randy Foster; aunt Linda Boyd; cousin Tonya Slate; niece Maria Delgado; and brother-in-law Bruce Dickerson.
