JOHNSON, CLYDE EUGENE, age 79, of Weidman passed away Friday, November 23, 2018, at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital.

Funeral Services for Clyde will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, November 28, at 7 p.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends the day of the service from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eagle's in Weidman or the Moose Lodge of Clare. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Clyde was born on October 3, 1939, in Detroit, the son of Fred and Mattie (McCaig) Johnson. Clyde proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married Pamela Caldwell on September 19, 1959, at St. Gabriel's Church in Detroit. Clyde worked for General Motors for 39 years. He was a member of the Weidman Eagles and the Clare Moose Lodge. He loved to sing karaoke and owned a professional system of his own.

Clyde is survived by his wife of 59 years, Pamela; sons, Michael Johnson of TN, and Phillip Johnson of Ann Arbor; sister, Helen (Joe) Greene of Dearborn Heights; brother-in-law, Paul Patterson of Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Frances Patterson.
