Qualls, Cora Lee, age 26, of Lake, passed away November 7, 2022.
Funeral Services for Cora will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Fred Cantu, Jr. officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow in Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Cora was born May 4, 1996, the daughter of Steven and Dr. Gena (Sisco) Qualls. She earned an associate degree from Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College and worked for the Soaring Eagle Casino. Cora was interested in history, loved reading, traveling, drawing, writing short stories and spending time with her family, especially her grandmother Colleen.
Cora is survived by her parents; Steven and Gena; aunts and uncles, David (Tammie) Sisco, Christy (Jason) Barker and Lilah Korkomaz; grandmothers, Colleen Ann Sisco and Kathy (Kamel) Korkomaz; brother, Tristan Qualls; sister, Kathryn Qualls; cousins, Orry Sisco, Ayla Sisco, Michael Barker, Aren Barker, Curtis Barker; and ex-husband, Nicholas Babcock.
Cora was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Youseff Kadi and Dave Sisco, Sr.; and her paternal and maternal great-grandparents.
