Obituary for Damarcus Lee Carson
Damarcus Lee Carson, age 13, of Mecosta, passed away on January 10, 2023, at his home.
Services for Damarcus will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 13, 2023, at 11 a.m. with Ben Evers officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow at Clark Funeral Chapel’s Reflections Reception Center. Burial will take place at Broomfield Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel on Thursday, January 12, from 4 – 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions in memory of Damarcus may be made to the wishes of the family.
Damarcus was born on February 19, 2009, the son of Erica Carson. He loved to play video games, sing old songs, and to be on his phone. Damarcus will be greatly missed by his family.
Damarcus is survived by his mom, Erica Carson of Mecosta, MI; sister, Eliza Carson; grandmother, Cathy Carson; uncle, Christopher (Rebecca Dennis) Carson; 3 great cousins, Conner Carson, Keyona Carson, Cruz Carson; great-grandmother, Bonnie Carson of Mt. Pleasant; special friend, Randy Olsson; and All of Mecosta.
Damarcus is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Walter and Gladys Carson; cousin, Robert Smith.
