IRVIN, DANA ALAN, age 63, of Casa Grande, AZ, previously Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019, surrounded by his family at Banner Hospital in Casa Grande, AZ.
Graveside Services will be held in the spring in Highland View Cemetery, Big Rapids, MI.
Dana was born October 2, 1955, in Big Rapids, the son of Orton and Leona (Jernstadt) Irvin. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in the Class of 1973. Dana married Angela M. Benaske on March 12, 1998. He worked as a roughneck in the oilfields. Dana enjoyed NASCAR racing and had his own race car.
Dana is survived by his wife Angela Irvin of Casa Grande, AZ; his daughters Laura (Chris) Hale of Casa Grande, AZ, and Cassidy (George) Lansberry of Arizona City, AZ; 5 grandchildren; brother Ollie (Mary) Irvin of Sturgis and sister Gail Irvin (Dale Bleise) of Weidman.
Dana was preceded in death by his parents and his aunts Phyllis and Mary.
