Obituary for David Alexander "Dave" Telfer

David Alexander Telfer was born on April 24,1957, such a joyful blessing to his mother. As a young boy he loved teasing his younger brother. He also loved to read and study geology. He enjoyed playing hockey, golf, and baseball. Then his youngest brother was born and he was so excited! Another brother to tease. Dave was an excellent student and went on to college. One of his favorite adventures was traveling to California with his college buddies. Other memorable adventures were, spending time in the upper peninsula with his friends. He then married his first wife and had a beautiful daughter, who he nicknamed (Bitty), who he loved dearly. Cooking become something he really enjoyed. Of course, he had to make it into a contest with his mother when it came to making haggis. The family feels he lost the contest, Sorry Dave. He started his career in the dental field, then moved on to become a loan officer. He spent many good times with his cousins throughout his years. As his health started to decline, he then found a new passion, fostering dogs. Which he did for many years.
