Obituary for David Robert Disbennett
DISBENNETT, DAVID ROBERT, age 35, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 at his home.
Funeral Services for David will take place at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 2 p.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow in Reflections Reception Center at the funeral chapel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 12 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
David was born in Toledo, Ohio, May 22, 1984, the son of David and Lisa (Kinnee) Disbennett. He was a graduate of L’anse Creuse North High School in Mt. Clemens. David served in the U. S. Air Force from 2003-2009. He then graduated from CMU, earning his BSBA in Business Management and had a double major in finance and accounting. He worked as a financial analyst. David married Kelly Price on May 26, 2013 in Mt. Pleasant. Building model airplanes, gaming, and playing darts were his favorite hobbies. David was an amazing cook and loved using his smoker. He also liked to fish, deer hunt, fantasy football, and was a devoted Detroit Lions fan.
David is survived by his wife Kelly Disbennett of Mt. Pleasant; their dog Dakota; father David (Jennifer) Disbennett of Oregon, OH; mother Lisa (Tom) Block of Chesterfield; brothers Ken (Emily) Disbennett of Seattle, WA, Ted (Molly) Disbennett of Oakland, CA; paternal grandmother Judy Disbennett of Curtice, OH; maternal grandfather Donald Kinnee of Otisville; nephews Otto and Oscar Disbennett, and Christopher Malone; parents-in-law Arnnie and Mary Kay Price of Mt. Pleasant; sister-in-law Amy Jeffrey of Mt. Pleasant; stepbrother Tony Ueberroth of Toledo, OH; and stepsister Lindsey Ueberroth of Toledo, OH.
David was preceded in death by dogs Chuck and Abbey; paternal grandpa Charles William Disbennett; maternal grandma Barbara Kinnee; and brother-in-law William Jeffrey.
