So sorry for your loss! I would like to share my fb post to let you have a glimps of what Dave meant to us. Please know you are in our prayers.

Today we attend a service to say good bye to a great man. He was more than just a neighbor, he was more than just a friend. As my daughter said, "he was family." In the bible David was a man after Gods heart. So fitting because Dave loved God. My favorite moments with him were the times my kids were in school and I would go sit with Dave and he would talk. He would talk about his life. He would talk about what God has done. He would talk about praying for all of those around him. We would pray. He would laugh at times and he would cry at times. He just radiated love. I will miss our talks, the prayers, the bear hugs. The smiles, the laughter. My kids will miss their neighbor grandpa. My son said, "who am I going to talk to now?" He loved all the kids around like he was their grandpa. My kids cried when he was in the hospital and wanted to see him. Dave asked about them when I visited. He asked for us to pray cause it's so hard. He gave me his hand and we prayed together right there. Then a few days later to give my kids the heart breaking news was shattering. Dave knew how much he was loved and we all knew how much he loved us. Of anyone one in life He was a prime example of being the hands and feet of Christ. So thankful and honored to have been able to adapt Dave into our family. He will be missed so much and will never be forgotten.

Love,
Tania Schuch
