Obituary for David Gerard "Davey" Sherwood
David “Davey” Gerard Sherwood Jr., age 35 of Harrison passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 25, 2022. David was born January 20, 1987, in Royal Oak, Michigan the son of David Gerard Sherwood Sr. and Patrice Kay Hendrickson. Davey had resided in Harrison since 2013, moving from Warren, Michigan.
Mr. Sherwood was an avid fisherman, ice fisherman, hunter, and NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed tinkering, disassembling, and re-assembling anything mechanical as he was curious about how things worked. He loved many music genres, living his solitary life and was very fond of animals, especially the family cat, “Molly Mae”.
Surviving Davey are his parents: Patrice Kay Leach and husband Mike of Taylor, Michigan, and David Gerard Sherwood Sr. of Harrison, one son, Landon Savage of Indiana, one daughter, Hailee Sherwood also of Indiana, one brother, Joseph Sherwood and Lindsay Rheaume of Warren and his very special niece, Alyssa “Noodle” Sherwood. Mr. Sherwood was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
