Obituary for Dawn Marie Bennett
DAWN MARIE BENNETT, age 56 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Friday, May 15, 2020, at U of M-Ann Arbor.
Due to the ongoing “Stay Home, Stay Safe" executive order for all Michigan residents, a private Funeral Service for Dawn will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Dawn was born November 7, 1963, in Carson City, MI, the daughter of Orville and Madeline (Zimmerman) Snyder. She married Timothy Bennett in 2007 and was a homemaker. Dawn loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing Bingo, being on her tablet, crocheting, camping and cook-outs.
Dawn is survived by her husband Tim Bennett of Mt. Pleasant; her two sons Charles (Kathleen) Snyder and Terry Snyder (Amanda), both of Mt. Pleasant; her six step-children Jackie (Aaron) Graveratte of Rosebush, Erica Bennett of Georgia, Keith (Melissa) Bennett of Mt. Pleasant, Anthony Bennett of Mt. Pleasant, Diamintina (Greg) Sceals of Harrison, Aaron Bennett of Six Lakes; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her mother Madeline Hoffmeyer of Mt. Pleasant; her brothers Kevin (Laura) Snyder of Mt. Pleasant, Vance (Bobbyjoe) Hoffmeyer, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, and Ross Ostrander of Sumner; sisters Melinda Stahl of Mt. Pleasant, Barbara Alvarado (Humberto) of Mt. Pleasant, and Katherine (Kenneth) Kyser of Shepherd; sister-in-law Candy Snyder and many nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters-in-laws.
Dawn was preceded in death by her father Orville Snyder; stepson Tim Mandoka, Jr.; step-father Vance Hoffmeyer, Sr.; brother Tim Snyder; sister Patricia Dowell; and her grandparents.
