Debra was born June 26, 1952, in Alma, the daughter of Andrew and Lucille (Morey) Bardos. She graduated from Shepherd High School with the Class of 1970. Among other things, Deb’s calling in life was to work as an in-home-caregiver for the loved ones of many special families. Deb, or Momma Deb, as she was widely known, was a great light in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her family and large extended family were of utmost importance-she devoted her life to loving those most dear to her. In her spare time, she liked working with her plants and watching wildlife around her. She had several adored pets and grand pets in her lifetime, especially LuLu and Hazel. Deb also enjoyed socializing, especially if there were music and dancing involved. A game of euchre could bring out her competitive side. She loved cooking and enjoyed time having family-style dinners.
Debra is survived by her beloved children, daughter Camille Bardos of Lake Isabella; sons Joshua (Krista) King of Shepherd, Gary Sprague (Jennie Whetstone) of Blanchard; “son of her heart” Robert “Bobby” Campbell of Lake Isabella; cherished grandchildren Xavier King, Amelia King, Nadia King, Aiden Sprague; treasured brothers James (Janitha) Bardos of Winn, Gary (Gale) Bardos of Remus; and many special nieces and nephews.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald Bardos.
