Obituary for Delores Ann "Dodie" Sangster
Sangster, Delores Ann, age 99, passed away Thursday, September 1st at Oakleaf Village Assisted living of Sylvania Ohio.
"Dodie" was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 4, 1923, the daughter of Charles and Eva (LaPointe) Quick. She majored in Home Economics at the University of Toledo. Delores was employed by the Family Lumber business and Catholic School system (K-6th Teacher) in Detroit and Highland Park, Mich during the 1960's before relocating to Mt.Pleasant, Michigan, She retired from Central Michigan University as an Executive Secretary to the College of Industrial Arts.
Mrs Sangsters' children Craig, Karen and Doug Brindle, wish to extend their most sincere gratitude towards her younger brother and sister-in-law, Charles (Carol) Quick; nephew and niece-in-law, Matt (Linda) Lori and the Oakleaf Village Staff . Their many years of support, dedication and care for Dodie was more than kind.
A graveside service will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (2520 W Willow St. Lansing, MI 48917) on September 20, 2022 at 12 p.m.
