Donald Ashley Tolbert age 87 of Harrison passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Bryan's House, Essexville, Michigan.
Donald was born March 1, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Cecil Tolbert and Rose (Marth) Tolbert. Mr. Tolbert was united in marriage to Ms. Anna May Brown on May 26, 1956 in Detroit. Don worked over twenty-eight years as a Millwright and was a life member of Millwrights Local 1102. Mr. Tolbert retired to Harrison in 1983, moving from St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
Surviving Don is his loving wife of sixty-seven years, Mrs. Anna May Tolbert of Harrison, two children; Robert Tolbert and wife Julie of Smiths Creek, Michigan and Donna Summers and husband Ronnie of Harrison, four grandchildren; Spencer Tolbert and wife Katelyn, Jacob Summers, Chase Tolbert and Mason Tolbert, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Mr. Tolbert was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters; Anita and Betty.
