Obituary for Donna Grace Huguelet
DONNA GRACE HUGUELET, age 79, of Farwell, formerly of Mt. Pleasant and Morriston, FL., passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at her home.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held in the spring of 2020.
Donna was born September 25, 1940, in Wheeler Township, Gratiot County, Michigan, the daughter of Charles Ernest and Lera Alta (Hicks) Owen. She married Lawrence Edward Huguelet on December 21, 1962. Donna had worked as a welder on the line at Ferro Manufacturing for 18 years before she retired. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, attaining the highest female rank. She enjoyed crocheting afghans and doing ceramics. Donna rode a Harley and was a member of a bowling league.
Donna is survived by her children John (Charlene) Huguelet of Mt. Pleasant and Kaylynn Huguelet of Grand Rapids; grandchildren Tabatha (Brad) Danielski of Beal City, Ryan Huguelet (fiance’ Elizabeth) of Mt. Pleasant, Cheryl (Jeff) Gear of Mt. Pleasant, Chris (Christina) Brown of Shepherd, Lynda Opdycke and Stephen (Brenda) Opdycke, Rebecca Huguelet (Paul Mentel); great-grandchildren Paislee Grace, Noah, Chloe Danielski, Kenneth, Courtnie, Caleb Malott, Levi Brown, Alexis, Gonzalez, Kaitlynn and Kennedy Brown, Makayla Opdycke, Victoria and Cody Opdycke, Tyler and Aubrey Beeman, Easton Beebe; siblings Clarence Owen (PID), James Owen (PID), John Owen (PID), Alice Winter, Charles Owen (PID), Ellis (Judy) Owen, George (Diana) Owen, Lyle Owen, Ruthann Cashen, Richard Owen and Linda Owen (PID). She is also survived by her fiance’ John Sachs.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lawrence Huguelet on September 15, 1994; and five siblings.
