Obituary for Donna Jean Swenson
SWENSON, DONNA JEAN, age 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2020, at her home.
A private family service for Donna will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 27th at 2:30 p.m. with Dana Hendershot officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Mt. Pleasant Michigan. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Donna was born on February 24th, 1941 in Sebewaing, MI, the daughter of Alfred and Viola (Gettle) Dembowske. She graduated from Sebewaing high school and pursued a career as a registered nurse graduating from Saginaw General Hospital. She worked in the OB unit with Grace Hospital and Children's Hospital in Detroit. Donna was very active with Immanuel Lutheran Church, loved sewing, quilting, reading and cooking. She was also the director of the food pantry in Addison, Illinois.
Donna is survived by her husband LeRoy of 58 years, daughter, Lee Ann (David) Swenson-Juul of Branchville, New Jersey; son Dane (Dawn) Swenson of Elmhurst, Illinois and two grandchildren, Danielle and Delaney; brother Darwin (Butch) Dembowske of Sebewaing; and sister Cindy Turner of Saginaw.
Donna was preceded in death by her brothers Richard Dembowske and David Dembowske; and baby daughter, Lori Lynn.
