Obituary for Doris Jean Spicer (Imus)
Doris Jean Spicer passed away peacefully on December 21, 2023 at the age of 88. Formerly of Pinckney, Michigan, Dorie graduated from Pinckney High School in 1954 and has resided in Harrison, Michigan for the last fifty years.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Harold (Pudge) Swarhthout, her son Bryan Swarthout and her second husband, Don Spicer. Also her brother Richard Imus.
Dorie is survived by her daughter, Toni Vincent, two grandsons, Joe Vincent and Anthony Schollaert, two sisters, June (Imus) Stein and Carol (Imus) Sittser also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dorie was an excellent hunter and outdoorswoman, great conversationalist and fun to be with. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
There will be a memorial service later in the spring 2024.
