Dorothy Ann Davis 64 of Harrison passed away Monday, August 3, 2020 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Dorothy was born September 30, 1955 in Jackson, Michigan the daughter of George Grove and Lea (Ingles) Grove. Dorothy was united in marriage to Russell Davis on April 5, 1975 in Harrison.
Dorothy has lived in Harrison for most of her life. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and camping. She was also an avid collector. Her favorite items to collect were her antique spoons and porcelain dolls. Dorothy’s true love was spending time with her family. She loved having cookouts, including making her specialty chocolate chip cookies, cheeseburgers, and pumpkin rolls for all to enjoy. She also loved holidays, and spending them with family, especially her grandchildren, who she adored. She will be dearly missed by all.
Surviving Dorothy is her loving husband of 45 years, Russell Davis, Sr. of Harrison, two daughters; Dorma Cosgrove and significant other Jacob Musser of Harrison, Bettie Hubband and husband Louis of Big Rapids. Two sons; Russell Davis Jr. of Harrison and Timothy Davis and significant other Dakota Singletary of Houghton Lake. Eleven grandchildren; Aaron, Alex, Alexis, Dana, Paris, Abagail, Raymond, Madison, Russell III, Elizabeth, and Tyler. Eight Great Grandchildren; Saylem, Conner, Alex Jr., Addison, Mia, Greyson, Nevaeh, Kingston and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preced in death by her parents, son in law Raymond Cosgrove and several other family members.
Visitation service for Dorothy will be held Friday, August 7, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison.
