Obituary for Duane Ferris Taylor
TAYLOR, DUANE FERRIS, age 93, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Green Acres Assisted Living in Mt. Pleasant.
Graveside Services for Duane will take place on Monday, June 14, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with Benjamen Evers officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Audubon Society, Attn: Donations, 225 Varick Street 7th Floor, New York, NY 10014. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel.
Duane was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 8, 1928, the son of Delmer and Helen (Kunzman) Taylor. He retired in 1986 from IBM as a service representative. Duane proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed feeding birds and roaming his property.
Duane is survived by his nephew Jack Weaver of Mt. Pleasant; and the Gary Bliss family.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Wilma Jean Weaver.
