Obituary for Earl D. "The Pearl" Miller
MILLER, EARL D. “The Pearl”, age 84, of Lake Isabella, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Brookdale Assisted Living of Midland.
Per Earl’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Daisy Hill and no services are scheduled.
Earl was born October 24, 1939, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Cecil and Mildred (Feltman) Miller. Upon graduating from highschool he enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served as a mechanic on the B-47 Bombers. Earl married Cathy Buckner on April 30, 1974 in Mt. Pleasant and they were blessed with 49 wonderful years of marriage. He served as a police officer for the Mt. Pleasant City Police Force for 25 years. Earl is a member of the American Legion Post 110 in Mt. Pleasant. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and taking the pontoon for a ride around the lake.
Earl is survived by his wife, Cathy Miller of Lake Isabella, children; Christopher Miller New York, Cheryl Longino of Port Orange, FL, Brian (Vickie) Miller of Beaverton, MI, Terrance Miller of Florida, Lin David (Sandi) Miller of New Haven, MI; seven grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; brother, Donald (Sharon) Miller of Mecosta, MI.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Stanley Miller.
