Obituary for Einar E. Bacome
BACOME, EINAR E., age 76, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022, at his home under the care of Heartland Hospice.
A Celebration of Einar’s life will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Eagles 4463 on Sunday, January 16, from 12 to 5 p.m. Family has asked to bring a dish to pass for the luncheon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Isabella County Commission on Aging or Heartland Hospice. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and the Eagles.
Einar was born August 24, 1945, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Tony and Violet (Painter) Bacome. Einar married Phyllis Ludwig on March 2, 1984, in Mt. Pleasant. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Eagles 4463 and enjoyed spending time hunting and woodworking. He was an avid photographer and took many pictures for the Morning Sun Newspaper while he was in high school. He loved owning and working on classic cars.
Einar is survived by his children, John (Teresa) Bacome, Einar T. "Skeeter" Bacome, Kristin Thaller, Sandy (Joe) Sharrar, and Wendy (Chris) Seymour; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Evelyn Ludwig; brother, Tom (Peggy) Bacome and sister: Jeanette Brand.
Einar was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (Ludwig) Bacome; great-granddaughter, Jasmine LaFountain; grandson, Matthew Sharrar; parents; Tony and Violet Bacome; father-in-law, Charles Ludwig; brothers, Brad and Tony Bacome; and son-in-law, Pat Thaller.
