Obituary for Elaine Corrine Barrick (Weted)
Elaine Corrine (Weted) Barrick, age 70, of Harrison formerly of Warren, Michigan passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland, with family by her side. She is now resting peacefully, but will be missed tremendously.
Elaine was born in Detroit, Michigan to Paul and Margaret (Bashara) Weted. Elaine was united in marriage to Mr. Kenneth Richard Barrick on September 24, 1966 in Warren. The love they shared was like no other. She was a devoted wife, mom, grandma, wonderful sister and friend. Her positive attitude towards life inspired her family. She always believed that when you put your mind to something you can achieve it. She was strong willed, loving and giving to all around her. Elaine was a homemaker and the best baker around; her chocolate chip cookies were amazing. There were always treats and food in the house. Her house was a gathering place for all. As soon as you met her, your life was better for it. Her energy was contagious. By always making people laugh, you couldn’t help but enjoy being around her. She enjoyed going to the casino, bowling and spending time with her family.
Surviving is her husband of fifty-two years, Mr. Kenneth Richard Barrick, three daughters; Lynn Rodenish (Bill), Deborah Rodenish (Gary) and Kimberly Campbell (Bill); her grandchildren; Tara Rodenish (Nik), William Rodenish, Matthew Rodenish, Amanda Rodenish and Alixandria Campbell, one sister, Joanne, two brothers; Paul and John, many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Becky and Terrie. Elaine was predeceased in death by her parents, Paul and Margaret; brother Gabriel; her aunts Martha and Jenny; uncle George; brother-in-law Charlie and sister in law Marion

Funeral services celebrating Elaine will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
