LERMA, ERIK MARTIN, age 49, of Rosebush, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021, at Medilodge of Clare.

Erik was born in Lansing, Michigan, October 19, 1972, the son of Philip and Peggy (Wheatley) Lerma. He loved being outdoors; camping, BBQs, and bonfires were his favorite past times. He loved his family and time spent with his children and grandchildren. He was very mechanical and had a passion for working on cars.
Erik is survived by his best friend and mother to his children, Natalie (Fortner) Weed of Mt. Pleasant; his children Trevor Lerma, Ada Lerma, Anthony Lerma (Abigail Schafer), all of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Isabell Lerma, Aliana Lerma, Luca Lerma, and Grace Lerma; brothers Christopher Lerma, Robert Lerma (Rachel Kratz), all of Mt. Pleasant.
Erik was preceded in death by his mother Peggy; stepmother Debra; sisters Teri Lerma and Peggy Lerma; brother Mark Wheatley; maternal grandparents Ada and Gibson Wheatley, paternal grandparents Henry and Lydia Lerma.
