Obituary for Evelyn Mae Ludwig
LUDWIG, EVELYN MAE, age 93, of Lake, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Woodland Hospice House.
There will be no funeral services at this time. Cremation will take place at Daisy Hill in Mt. Pleasant. Memorial contributions may be made to Garfield Fire Department in Lake, Michigan.
Evelyn was born in Bridgeport, Illinois, on December 17, 1928, the daughter of Harvey and Grace (Earnest) Snider. She married Charles E. Ludwig on January 6, 1955, and they enjoyed 46 years of marriage. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles, and VFW for over 50 years. Evelyn liked golfing, dancing, and playing cards at the Euchre Club.
Evelyn is survived by her son Phillip (Cindy) Ludwig; daughter Cher Ludwig; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Charles on January 23, 2001, and daughter Phyllis Bacome on July 29, 2018.
