Obituary for Frances Ann Timmer (Campbell)
Frances Ann Timmer, age 88, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, at Medilodge of Mt. Pleasant under the care of Heartland Hospice.
Per Frances' wishes, cremation has taken place at Daisy Hill Crematory in Mt. Pleasant. A Memorial Mass for Frances will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of the Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel.
Frances was born on July 29, 1933, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of Bernard and Florence (Whitehead) Campbell. Frances worked at the Masonic Home as a nurses aide for many years. She retired from MMI in 2020 after 13 years and was honored to be a foster parent senior companion. Frances enjoyed bowling, and bowled well into her 80's.
Frances is survived by her children, David (Carol) Timmer of Lansing, Gary (Mary) Timmer of Jacksonville, FL, Linda (Richard) Robinson of Shepherd, Robert (Michelle) Timmer of Mason, Jim (Trisha) Timmer of Mt. Pleasant, and Anna (Ray) Byron of Blanchard; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Beverly Romens, Joe Campbell, John "Jack" Campbell, and Richard Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her children, Sharon May, Joe Williams, and Danny Timmer; parents; and brothers, Charles Campbell and Larry Campbell.
